Aviation Neuropsychology Evaluations
Pilots may be required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to participate in a neuropsychological evaluation as part of a broader, interdisciplinary medical examination. The primary purpose of these exams is to determine whether there are any aeromedically significant findings which could impact safety of the national airspace. Dr. Orr is a qualified examiner for the FAA and the affiliated Human Intervention Motivational Study (HIMS) Program to conduct neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. She is also certified to conduct Tier 2 evaluations for pilots and air traffic controllers as needed.
